The mission of San Juan Smiles dental department is to provide the highest quality of care in a gentle and warm-hearted manner. Providing dental education and up-to-date information is an integral part of the preventative services we offer. It is important that you, the dental customer, be as knowledgeable as possible in creating and maintaining the health of the foundation and supporting structures of your teeth and have a personalized program designed to meet your specific needs. This begins with a thorough periodontal evaluation. Our hygienist will perform an intra-oral and extra-oral cancer screening and then proceed with recorded measurements and x-rays (radiographs) in order to determine the level of periodontal health and/or disease. A current baseline of periodontal health is established and then an individualized treatment plan is developed.

Every patient differs in their oral hygiene needs. We continually strive to create an atmosphere that allows for your comfort as well as the freedom for patient/hygienist collaboration in the tailoring of care. This collaboration in care extends to all the dental professionals in our office who may have the pleasure to serve you.
